Archipelago International has continued its rapid expansion across Indonesia with the grand opening of its first Harper-branded hotel.
The Harper Kuta soft-opened in Bali earlier this year, but the property was showcased to the trade and media this month in an official grand opening ceremony.
Located in the central Kuta area of Bali, the 149-room Harper Kuta is being described as being a “modern rustic” hotel. Facilities include two swimming pools, a spa, restaurant and complimentary Wi-Fi.
According to Archipelago, the new Harper brand will comprise “three- and four-star new-build hotels”.
“The new Harper Hotel concept opens the doors onto a new world of well-being,” said Archipelago’s vice president of sales & marketing, Norbert Vas. “We all like to have a place to call our own and while travelling. This means comfort, practicality and a true reflection of our personality.”
The Bali hotel is the first of eight Harper properties expected to open in the coming months, with new locations including Banjarmasin, Surabaya and Makassar.
