Attraction takes Queensland tourism to new heights

A new tourist attraction on Queensland’s Gold Coast is planning to allow tourists to experience the state from a whole new perspective. Opening this Australian summer, SkyPoint Climb will be the country’s highest external building walk, taking climbers on a guided journey 270 metres above the ground at the top of the Q1 Resort building.
Climbers will dress in a full-body suit and harness before they step out on to the SkyPoint Observation Deck on the building’s 77th floor. Walking above the glass crown which frames the top of the tower, climbers can use a handrail, while the more daring can walk along the edge of the building.
