Banyan Tree to showcase expansion
Banyan Tree Holdings Limited will use the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2011 to reveal a series of expansion and development plans. The luxury hotel company, which this week is on show in Zabeel Hall, stand number HC630, will showcase is luxury products including the newly-launched beachfront pool villas in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, as well as the group’s signature resorts in Seychelles, Maldives and Phuket.
Also at ATM 2011’s Luxury Travel Forum, Banyan Tree’s Vice President of Marketing, Luca Deplano is one of the keynote speakers addressing the evolving needs of the luxury traveller.
“As the Middle East market is a key development destination for Banyan Tree, the ATM exhibition is an ideal platform for us to display our resorts and to further explore the potential of this dynamic region. We are currently looking at expanding in markets in Oman, Jordan and Egypt over the next five years,” commented Deplano
Banyan Tree is currently on an aggressive expansion phase, and expects to double its number of properties by 2013. A number of new hotels are scheduled to open this year including Banyan Tree Macau, Banyan Tree Riverside Shanghai, Angsana Hangzhou, and Angsana Balaclava, Mauritius.
