Thailand’s Centre Point Hospitality has opened the Mandarin Hotel in Bangkok, following the signing of a management contract.
The property officially reopened this week, in a ceremony attended by senior company executives and travel trade partners, and presided over by Suwanna Bhuddaprasart, senior executive vice president of Quality House Public Company Limited.
Located on the Rama IV Road, in the centre of the Thai capital, the Mandarin Hotel dates back to 1965 but recently underwent a major renovation.
The property now includes 375 contemporary rooms and suites, all with LED televisions and complimentary Wi-Fi, while facilities include two restaurants, a spa, swimming pool and fitness centre.
The hotel also caters to the MICE market with five meeting rooms and the Mandarin Grand Ballroom.
Centre Point now operates nine hotels in Bangkok.
