Singapore is planning to build a fourth terminal at the Changi Airport,Bernama has reported. No date has been set for the project, which is part ofPrime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s ‘master plan’ for the future of Singapore. Speakingat the official opening of the new Terminal 3, Lee said the facility - whichwould take Changi’s annual passenger capacity to approximately 70 million -would be necessary in the years to come. Terminal 3 actually began operating inJanuary, since when it has handled over 5 million passengers.
