DoubleTree by Hilton Dhahran opens for business

Hilton Worldwide and DoubleTree by Hilton announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Dhahran in Al Khobar, KSA. The 153-room conversion property, becomes the first DoubleTree by Hilton branded hotel to open in Saudi Arabia.
John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton said: “The brand caters to both business and leisure travellers built around the idea of CARE – Create a Rewarding Experience.”
The hotel features a range of amenities including a large ballroom, four meeting rooms, a complimentary 24-hour business centre, a 24-hour fitness center, and scheduled later for this year, a fully-renovated fitness centre, indoor swimming pool and spa area, including steam room and sauna.
The rooms are spread across 99 king, queen or twin rooms and 54 one and two-bedroom suites. The dining options include Al Waha, an all-day dining restaurant, Rasoi – an Indian specialty fine dining and the Al Maha Café – a coffee shop.
Rudi Jagersbacher, president, Hilton Worldwide Middle East & Africa said: “With 21 properties in our KSA pipeline, we now have the largest development programme in the region. This opening brings more awareness of the brand to the Middle East region. Our presence in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province contributes to leverage international hospitality services standards in the area and city of Dhahran.”
