Dubai to boost infrastructure spending

The Dubai government has allocated 30% of its 2010 budget spending for infrastructure projects. According to a Gulf News report, an estimated AED10.7 billion (US$2.9 billion), out of AED29.4 billion total will be dedicated to ‘core infrastructure’ spending particularly in the areas of road and transport and public utilities.
