Europe’s largest low-cost carrier, EasyJet, carried 22% more passengers this September than it did in the same month last year, according to a CNN report. The rise is said to be due to the carrier’s purchase of GB Airways.
The UK-based carrier said in a statement that it flew 4.2 million in the month, compared with 3.4 million in September 2007. Load factor rose 1.8% to 86.9%.
