Emirates Aviation University kicks off 2nd IAMC

The booming aviation industry and its challenges were discussed and debated at the 2nd International Aviation Management Conference (IAMC) in Dubai. The event was held under patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and chief executive, Emirates Airline and Group at the Emirates Aviation University.
The event also witnessed discussions on challenges and opportunities currently facing the aviation industry.
“Aviation is rapidly growing in the MENA region, challenging perceptions globally and posing new questions every day. The IAMC offers an opportunity to discuss, brainstorm and identify future challenges and growth prospects,” said Dr Ahmad Al Ali, vice chancellor – Emirates Aviation University
Some of the keynote speakers were Adel Al Redha, executive vice president and chief operations officer- Emirates Airline, Hussein Dabbas, regional vice president, Africa & Middle East – IATA and Dr Norbert Lohl, certification director, European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)
The IAMC 2014 was hosted in partnership with Dubai Duty Free (DDF), General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), Dubai Police and Le Meridian hotel.
