In a bid to boost its numbers from the UK, the Egyptian Tourism Authority (ETA) recently announced the re-launch of its successful Red Sea Riviera logo.
This will be used for marketing activities in the UK, as part of plans to extend the Red Sea Riviera brand to other resorts.
The initiative will see the logo used by the Egypt Tourism Authority and UK tour operators in promotional activities and advertising campaigns.
The Egyptian Tourism Authority aims to extend this success to other Red Sea Riviera destinations, such as El Gouna, Hurghada, Sahl Hashish, Makadi Bay, Soma Bay and Marsa Alam.
The global reputation of Sharm El Sheikh as a holiday destination was built under the umbrella of the Red Sea Riviera, and the logo was first used in the Egyptian Tourism Authority’s marketing campaigns in 2004.
