About The Opportunity
We are seeking a Corporate Accountant to Support our Leisure brands, including Flight Centre Canada and Liberty Travel USA. We are looking for a motivated individual, with strong attention to detail and communication skills, as well as someone who challenges status quo and works to run, grown and transform day to day financial responsibilities.
The role is responsible for the day-to-day accounting function of the Americas retails brands including reconciliations, training and providing feedback to our offshore support team, accounts payable support, audit support, Helio booking platform financial support, month end financial controls, mailbox communications to the front-end teams and general-purpose reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Uphold a culture of strong financial compliance & control
Strong understanding of debit and credit level transactions and how to make corrections where needed
Complete daily, monthly mid-office reconciliations
Maintain month end reporting deadlines across all businesses
Perform month end checks and reviews of EOM posting
Strong attention to detail
Support and monitoring offshore team performance
Ability to identify a problem and implement a solution.
Working closely with the accounting team and supporting the Controller
Strong customer focus, a high level of commercial acumen and professionalism
Ability to train another team member on a process
Experience & Qualifications
5 years’ + General Accounting Experience
Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent required.
Experience working in a multinational company desirable
Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills

This role can be performed onsite or on a hybrid schedule, in compliance with the Company’s Remote and Flexible Work Policy.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $65,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
