Flynas recently announced its intent to begin daily operation from Riyadh to Cairo from 29 April 2015.
The daily flights will be serviced by an A320 aircraft with 164 seats across economy and business class. The airline connects to seven destinations in Egypt which include Alexandria, Assiut, Sohag, Luxor, Sharm El Sheikh and Aswan.
As per recent statistics, more than one million Egyptians travel to Saudi Arabia annually on pilgrimages for Hajj and Umrah. In addition, Saudi Arabia is home to nearly two million Egyptians who live and work in the Kingdom. Egypt in turn continues to be popular among Saudis, from both a tourism perspective and as a higher education destination for students.
