G Adventures has announced it will resume its full Egypt programme from 1 January 2014.
The tour operator said it is confident its trips will run unaffected, although overnight trains are not running and have been replaced by flights.
Its managing director John Warner said the company is looking forward to reintroducing holidays in the country, which has seen tourism impacted after FCO travel advice put in place earlier this year meant UK travellers could not safely visit the country.
“We have an operational office in Cairo and team members on the ground who are monitoring the situation daily. We’re excited to be able to give our travellers the opportunity to travel safely, and our operational crew and CEOs (chief experience officers) the opportunity to get back to work, showing people the country they are passionate about,” said Warner.
“We know G Adventures travellers are curious and adventurous, and there is no better time to see the wonders of Egypt with less crowds, and to give back to its communities, many of which rely heavily on tourism as a means of local income,” he added.
