To celebrate its 30th year of operations, German airline Germania has unveiled an aircraft with a special livery.
The Jubilee Boeing 737 spent a week being painted in the East Midlands at the beginning of February, and now combines the traditional livery of Germania’s fleet with new elements and a fresh, green coat of paint.
To launch the 30th anniversary celebrations, Germania introduced the Jubilee Boeing to media earlier this week at the airport in Bremen, Germany.
In the coming weeks, the aircraft will touch down at airports such as Berlin, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Münster/Osnabrück and Rostock, enabling passengers at many of Germania’s departure points the opportunity to see and photograph the unique aircraft.
As part of the 30th anniversary celebrations, Germania will also be promoting the hashtag #flyGermania, to unite the best photographs on Facebook and Instagram, and to showcase Jubilee competitions and discount prices/promotions.
The celebrations will continue on-board when, from April through to the end of September on the 30th day of the month, one lucky passenger will be chosen at random to receive a surprise gift.
