GHM dips its feet in Indian market

General Hotel Management (GHM) is set to make its presence felt in India soon. The company, which has a range of hotels in several countries, will manage an intimate 45 key project in New Delhi. According to Vice President Clement Koh, the hotel will open in the first quarter of 2013. Another project yet to be finalised, is a 60 key hotel in Mumbai which is under discussion. This news comes just after the company set up a rep office in India, with Sartha Marketing Consultants looking after GHM interests, to market the hotels in India. GHM currently manages over 700 keys in eight countries and has eight more properties under development. GHM manages independent hotels in America, the Middle East and various Asian countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and even North Korea.
