Global Strategy Summit line-up announced

The line-up for the Global Strategy Summit (GSS) - co-located at World Routes in Beijing on 14-15 September 2009 – has been announced. With focused panel discussions instead of formal presentations, the ICAO/World Bank/Routes Global Strategy Summit (formerly the Routes Leaders Forum) is a unique event where airline and airport chairmen and CEOs come together in an informal setting to discuss the key issues currently affecting the air transport industry.
Discussion panels will discuss the current factors challenges of the aviation industry, and opportunities for future growth. This year’s sessions are scheduled under the umbrella titles of: ‘Civil Aviation Today’, ‘Can Global Air Transport Resume Growth?’, ‘Technology to Transform our Industry’, ‘Safety and Security Challenges’, ‘Environmental Challenges’, ‘The Airline/ANSP/Airport Partner - Future Trends’, ‘Air Transport & Tourism - Catalyst for Future Development’, and ‘Developing Markets of the Future’.
Speakers currently include senior executives from Etihad Airways, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Airbus SAS, Southwest Airlines, The World Bank and PATA.
