Tourists can now a bird’s eye view of the Great Wall of China, following the launch of helicopter flights over the ancient wonder. Xinhua reported that Capital Helicopter, which is a subsidiary of the HNA Group, is offering 15-minute flights over the Badaling section of the wall, north of Beijing, in a six-seat helicopter. The launch could form part of a significant expansion of such services in China, with the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) saying earlier this year that it plans to open up low-altitude airspace to private operators across the country.
