Gulf Air has launched a major new local advertising campaign. Called ‘Straight from the Heart’, the campaign was created in-house and will feature TV and radio commercials, as well as online ads and billboards. The documentary-style ads feature Gulf Air passengers describing their travel experiences with Gulf Air.
Gulf Air Senior Marketing Manager, Shehab Saeed commented; “We wanted to break away from the traditional airline advertising in the region, which is either aspirational or promotionally driven; this ‘Straight From the Heart’ campaign engages with our audience directly and emotionally. We are the first airline in the region to run a testimonial campaign that features real people from various walks of life talking about their real experiences in their own words.”
The ad campaign was launched to coincide with the unveiling of a series of new commercial initiatives designed to expand Gulf’s customer base and increase its revenue through a new range of products, services and incentive packages. These include a new series of ‘Family First’ packages for customers travelling with their spouses and kids, and the ‘Falcon Corporate Plus’ initiative for business travellers.
