RCI’s Harmony of the Seas, the operator’s newest cruise ship, will be making her UK debut to travel agents at the 2016 CLIA Cruise Conference.
It will be joined by P&O Cruises’ Ventura as CLIA celebrates the 10th anniversary of the largest cruise travel agent event in Europe.
The renamed CLIA Conference will take place on Wednesday 18, Thursday 19 and Friday 20 May in Southampton. The event is designed for customer facing travel professionals and will feature business sessions, an interactive trade fair, networking opportunities and visits to both ships.
CLIA UK & Ireland director Andy Harmer said: “The 2016 CLIA Conference will be a celebration of cruise under the theme ‘Join the Cruise Revolution’. Our first conference took place in 2007 when our membership totalled 750 agencies and 21 cruise lines – we now have an amazing 3,400 travel agency members and 51 cruise lines. This not only demonstrates the growth of cruise but how it has diversified and is being embraced by a wider cruise community.’
Tickets go on sale for the 2016 CLIA Cruise Conference on Thursday 5 November. For further information visit www.cruiseexperts.org
