Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium has officially relaunched following a nine-month refurbishment.
The 512-room hotel has emerged from a multi-million dollar makeover that comprised its lobby, guest rooms, F&B outlets and meetings facilities.
This was the most extensive renovation ever undertaken at the 30 year-old property, and the first upgrade since it joined the Holiday Inn portfolio in 2005.
“We are really excited to officially unveil the newly transformed Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium in the same year as we celebrate the hotel’s 10th anniversary,” said Tuncay Bockin, the hotel’s general manager. “The refurbishment is timely in supporting Singapore’s Tourism 2015 roadmap with 17 million visitor arrivals expected this year.
“As part of InterContinental Hotels Group, our aim is to create great hotels guests love, and it is of the utmost priority for our team to offer all our guests an exceptional stay with us – be it for leisure or business,” he added.
The renovation was completed in phases, with the lobby and guest rooms and meeting space having already been unveiled, with new interiors inspired by the Singapore River and traditional shophouses. The last phase of the project included the revamp of the hotel’s Atrium Restaurant and the addition of the new Atrium Bar 317.
