Hong Kong’s Swire Hotels will open its first hotel in the US on 31 May. The new East Miami forms part of Swire Properties’ US$1.05 billion mixed-used development in the Florida city’s Brickell district.
A member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ LVX Collection and the “anchor hotel” for the 502,000m² Brickell City Centre complex, East Miami will offer a total of 352 rooms, suites and residences, ranging in size from 28-93m² and all offering views of the Miami skyline and Biscayne Bay through floor-to-ceiling windows. All guests will be offered free Wi-Fi, keyless room entry and paperless check-in and check-out.

F&B options at the hotel will include a 40th floor Asian-inspired rooftop bar and garden, which serves tapas, plus a lobby café and the fifth floor restaurant Quinto La Huella, which becomes the first international outpost of Uruguay’s beachside Parador La Huella. This restaurant will offer wood-fired ovens, a sushi counter and a poolside outdoor dining area.
Other facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre with Technogym equipment, and an outdoor area featuring a lap pool, spa pool, cold plunge pool and hot tub. Finally, for the MICE sector East Miami will feature more than 1,800m² of event space, including a 307m² ballroom.
The Brickell City Centre development also contains five levels of retail space, a fine-dining movie theatre, and other F&B and entertainment venues.
East Miami becomes Swire Hotels’ third East-branded property, following existing locations in Hong Kong and Beijing.
