Spain’s national carrier Iberia has launched its seasonal Madrid-Budapest service.
The 1,977-kilometre sector from the Spanish carrier’s hub at Madrid Airport will operate six times a week, using the airline’s fleet of A320s, until 22 October.
Providing Hungarian passengers with additional connections from the Spanish capital city airport, Iberia will most notably boost Budapest Airport’s link to Latin America.
Celia Muñoz, Iberia’s head of Sales for Europe and Africa, said: “We’re delighted to complete our network in Central Europe with the Budapest-Madrid route. The Hungarian capital is a very popular destination among Spanish tourists.”
