Travel technology company Illusions has formed a new partnership with the Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN).
The addition of EAN to Illusions’ i-World Travel eXchange (iWTX) will increase the amount of content offered to the travel trade through the system, and will enable EAN to distribute its content in real-time.
“The vision of iWTX was to always create the biggest marketplace of travel products under one roof. Traditionally it was product coming out of our own powered content,” said Illusions’ founder & CEO, Faisal Memon.
“With EAN, we found great guys that we have a very good working relationship with and it’s what works for both of us. They’ve got fantastic product which we can immediately add to the portfolio that we already have.
“We’re also having conversations about feeding our global travel marketplace product back into Expedia. It’s early days but the discussion has started which is excellent for us,” he added.
EAN is also expected to expand its hotel inventory from 200,000 properties to approximately one million over the next few of years, further expanding the amount of content offered on iWTX.
