India and Pakistan are holding talks this week on the disputed area of Kashmir and the continuing threat of terrorism.This would be the first formal talks between them since India broke off peace negotiations in 2008 after terrorist attacks in Mumbai that killed 166 people.India’s External Affairs Ministry spokesman said Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao would visit Islamabad 23-24 June and meet her Pakistani counterpart, Salman Bashir.
