Insight Vacations has launched a tour and cruise planner to help travel agents target cruise customers and sell escorted tours before and after cruise holidays. The planner is a two-sided handout that outlines cruise arrival and departure dates so agents can plan pre- and post tours to match when clients are shoreside. “Selling escorted tours is a great way for agents to boost their bottom line and earn maximum commission, because an Insight tour combined with a cruise can yield dividends,” said Paul Melinis, director of sales for One Stop Touring Shop. “Cruise commissions are experiencing an all-time low and agents need to look at ways of increasing their earnings.
