Two Iranians are among the 150 killed when a Germanwings jet crashed into the Alps this week.
Both were sports journalists, according to Iranian media, Milad Hojatoleslami working for the Tasnim news site and Hussein Javadi a reporter for the Vatan Emrouz newspaper.
They had been on a trip to Barcelona to watch ‘el clasico’, the match between Barcelona and Real Madrid.
A match between Iranian national football team and Chile in Austria was their next assignment.
It is now believed at least one of the pilots was locked out of the cockpit of the doomed jet, who was trying to force his way back in. Authorities are still piecing together the events that led to the catastrophe.
