ITC hotels and Tata’s Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) will invest strongly over the next few years to add more properties, according to the Business Standard. ITC plans to expand to open up to 40 hotels over the next few years, taking the company’s total portfolio to 150 hotels. The Tata-managed IHCL, which runs hotels under four brands, including Taj, at present has 109 properties in India and abroad, and aims to add 41 more properties in the next four years.
