ITDC to undertake tourism training

The India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) and Khushii, a NGO headed by cricketer Kapil Dev, have got together to promote the Hunar Se Rozgar scheme to prepare youth for jobs in the tourism and hospitality industry. While Khushii will select and identify the students, ITDC will train them in a short course at the Ashok Institute of Tourism and Hospitality, in its various hotels all over the country. To celebrate the partnership, a musical programme was held at the Ashok Convention Hall in New Delhi. Aman Nath, noted artist and conservator, who heads the Neemrana Group of Hotels, is chief patron of Khushii.
