Jerry Bridge unveils new online venture

Travel entrepreneur Jerry Bridge has announced a new holiday match website.
The new company, named World Travel with Bridge, the new venture offers personal advice, tips and recommendations for tailor-made holidays including luxury, honeymoons, rail, cruise, package and budget holidays.
The company will be looking to work with UK travel agents and to celebrate one will win a free case of wine worth GBP75 if they make a booking based on the recommendation.
‘I will be offering agents personal and practical advice to help them help their customers – advice that is unavailable anywhere on the internet. I genuinely believe my involvement will make a difference,” said Bridge.
His partners include Tourism New Zealand, Tourism Australia, Wendy Wu Tours, STA Travel, Caribtours, Qantas and more.
Bridge first started his career in 1985 at Trailfindres and then went on to set up Bridge the World in 1988. Bridge the World was later merged with Travelbag and sold to e-bookers. In 2004 he set up Bridge and Wickers which was sold to the Ultimate Travel Company in 2012.
