Job Description

Director of Customer Service – Romania (EU applicants only). An excellent opportunity to join a global travel business with multi-site, multi-lingual call centre operations. The role must be based in the largest site in Romania and as such have EU citizenship to work here and there will also be regular travel to other key locations.

Director of Customer Service Responsibilities

You will own the European Customer Service strategy with total headcount responsibilities of around 80-100 people across multiple sites. You will be accountable for all customer service related issues including escalations, driving continuous improvement through the team, achieving the departments objectives and KPI’s. You will review technology, processes and procedures to ensure a seamless operation, work closely with sales and purchasing teams to ensure the overall business objectives are being met, budget management and ensuring a performance framework is in place to monitor and drive standards.

Director of Customer Service Skills Required

  • Must have at least 5 years leadership experience within customer service, preferably in multi-site, international operations.
  • Must have at least 5 years experience in the travel and tourism sector
  • Ability to travel regularly internationally
  • A sound knowledge of call centre / customer service technology and telephony systems
  • Proven ability to work at both a tactical and strategic level
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Must speak fluent English at a business level

Director of Customer Services Additional Information

A gross basic salary up to the equivalent of £60,000 in Romanian Leu
This role must be based in Romania so if relocating for the role you must be an EU citizen to have the eligibility to work here.
