Senior Data Analyst – Global Business Travel. London/Hybrid. £50-55k. A unique and exciting opportunity to join the in-house travel team of a global professional services organisation. You will support Global Travel in the areas of reporting, analysis, database management and liaising with their business travel agency. Initial training will be in Canary Wharf, after which the role can be hybrid with 1-2 days in the office and the rest remote.

Senior Data Analyst Responsibilities

Working in the Global Travel Data Analytics Team, you will maintain and develop the global travel data pool, ensuring it’s accuracy whilst identifying gaps in data and making recommendations for improvement. You will create market specific reports to support travel initiatives, build interfaces for data management, collecting data from third party vendors for validation and testing. You will monitor KPI’s relating to global travel for the area of travel technology and policy data. You will also support users of the data pool and travel teams with any tasks, projects or questions.

Senior Data Analyst Skills Required

• A background in business intelligence and reporting within the travel industry is key
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw meaningful information from large data sets
• Ability to design, maintain and enhance Excel databases
• Experience using reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Alteryx
• Experience using MSSQL Management Studio and using SQL to create scripts
• Excellent communication skills, attention to details and stakeholder Management

Senior Data Analyst Package

A basic salary in the region of £50,000 – £55,000, plus bonus up to 14%, enhanced pension contributions of 9%, private medical, 25 days holiday plus 3 additional days over Christmas and ability to buy/sell 5 further days and many other benefits.
