Management Accountant – London/Remote – Travel Industry. An excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant / Financial Controller to join an established Tour Operator based in London with a great deal of flexibility for hybrid/remote working. You will work closely with the Finance Director with scope to develop as the business grows and will be hands on with all aspects of the business.

Management Accountant Responsibilities

You will be responsible for preparing monthly P&L accounts, credit card reconciliations, ensuring compliance with ATOL/ABTA/CAA requirements, preparation of balance sheets and cash flow forecasts. You will create the VAT submissions, set up accruals/payments, undertake financial analysis for management reporting, provide leadership to the Finance Assistant and support with business decision making.

Management Accountant Skills / Experience Required

• CIMA/ACCA Accountancy qualifications
• Experience in the travel industry with knowledge of ABTA and ATOL requirements highly desirable
• Dynamic team player who enjoys both the hands on and strategic aspects of management accounting
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient knowledge in MS Office applications including excel
• Commercially astute

Management Accountant Additional Details

A salary between £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience.
At present the policy is remote working with occasional meetings in London a couple of times a month.
