Market Manager (Hotels/OTA) – German Speaking – London. This rapidly growing and excited online travel business are currently seeking 2 Market Managers who speak German to be responsible for contracting and account managing hotels across Germany. The role will be office based in Central London 3 days per week, with flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.

Market Manager Responsibilities

You will be responsible for building and progressively expanding the portfolio of local hotel partners by introducing prospective high value partners to the companies proposition and facilitating the onboarding process. You will promote the companies brand name and its online reservation services to hotels, maintain the best rate parity, availability and inventory of responsible hotels You will also advise hotels on regular marketing campaigns and promotions, be responsible for the assigned market, and conduct the data research and analysis (market, product, competitor, price, supplier, etc.).

Market Manager skills required

• Previous experience working in market management, contracting or hotel purchasing, preferably on behalf of an Online Travel Agency (OTA) or Meta Search business, but other backgrounds such as bed banks, tour operators and even hotels will also be considered.
• Detail oriented and fast learning capability
• Able to work independent with minimal supervision
• Dynamic, positive and a good team player
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Must speak fluent German and English
• Flexibility to occasionally travel to Germany and meet with hotel partners, when travel restrictions permit this.

Market Manager package details

• A competitive basic salary from £35,000 – £50,000 per annum depending on experience
• Yearly and month bonus/incentives
• Office based in London 3 days a week and 2 days from home
