PR Executive / Manager – PT / FT – Travel – Self Employed – Home Working. An exciting opportunity to join this newly created, sustainable and ethical tour operator who are due to launch their website in Autumn 2021 and start running tours from Spring 2022.
PR Executive / Manager Responsibilities
You would be joining the business at a pre-operating stage and be heavily involved with promoting the business and it’s website launch in Autumn 2021. You will create a public relations strategy for both the website and operations launch, create engaging press releases, blogs and other online comms to raise awareness in the product. You will engage with various travel media partners to maximise reach and interest in the product.
PR Executive / Manager Skills Required
- Must have a PR and Comms background with established contacts in the Travel Media sector
- We are open to both agency and in-house PR experience
- Proven creative and innovative approach to storytelling, pitching, brand positioning and idea generation.
- An understanding of the digital media landscape and new media opportunities.
- Problem solver, ability to learn and work on your own and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to work well across multiple stakeholders
PR Executive / Manager Additional Information
- As the business are newly created, they are yet to set up a UK entity and as such are looking for someone who is happy to work on a self employed/consultancy/freelance basis. This may change in the future when the business grows.
- This role could be offered on a full time or part time basis depending on the individual and what they are looking for.
- Salary is dependent on experience; we may consider ‘mid-level professionals who are looking for full time, or equally more experienced candidates on a part time basis.
- The role can be home based, although occasional meetings with media partners or other people involved with the business may be required.
