Product Director – Adventure Travel & Sailing – £70-80k – London / Hybrid / Remote. A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Product / Commercial Director to join this entrepreneurial travel business that offer highly experiential adventure / escorted tours as well as sailing trips.

Product Director Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for leading a small team of 3 and supporting the business with organisational change as they adapt their business model and product offering. You will be tasked with creating the product roadmap that expands their already successful adventure tours mainly delivered through DMC’s, as well as building out their sailing / yacht programme which is a key area of growth for the organisation. You will require insight to capacity planning to ensure the right inventory and product is in place to meet revenue and business objectives. You will seek out tactical promotions from suppliers, ensure quality standards are being met and work in conjunction with the marketing Director and Sales Director to ensure a joined up approach to meeting business objectives.

Product Director Skills Required

• Must have senior level product and commercial experience gained within an adventure / escorted tour operator
• Experience in the sailing / yacht sector would also be a distinct advantage
• Experience of capacity planning and inventory management
• Experience leading a small team
• Highly adaptable; experience working in a start up or companies that have gone through periods of change would help
• Commercially and financially astute

Product Director Additional Details

A basic salary in the region of £70,000 – £80,000 depending on experience + bonus
The organisation are headquartered in Central London and are flexible with hybrid working. The current team go into the office approximately 1 day a week but more or less than this may be considered depending on your location and circumstances.
