Sabre is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our Asia Pacific implementations team based in Singapore.
The successful candidate will need to be fluent in customer communications, passionate about customer service and have a proven track record in implementing projects within the hospitality distribution industry. The candidate will be highly skilled in planning/managing complex projects, navigating internal structures and managing stakeholders’ expectations.
The Sr. Project Manager will report to the Head of Operations Apac and is responsible for delivery of Sabre products/services to strategic hotels or chains. This position requires coordination of activities and timelines, with multiple internal and customers teams as well, as third-party vendors, throughout the lifecycle of the projects from planning, onboarding, tracking, issue resolution to closure. The Sr. Project Manager will be the customer’s main point of contact from contract signature until successful implementation, at which time the day to day customer management will be transitioned to account management.
The Sr. Project Manager is required to manage multiple projects; each at various stages of the on-boarding process. The candidate is expected to work directly with senior level customer executives and can identify risks, opportunities and implement mitigation strategies or corrective actions.
The Sr. Project Manager will be expected to become an SME for assigned internal projects, maintain associated intellectual capital which includes, but is not limited to project documentation, white paper development and customer references. In addition, the Sr. Project Manager is also expected to help build and scale the service delivery function to a new level. Prior transformation project experience highly desirable.
In order to be successful in this role, the candidate must have high levels of personal effectiveness, build relationships and work well under pressure and timelines.
Job Requirements:
- Fluency in standard English is mandatory. Fluency in Japanese Or Korean Or Chinese language is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills plus outstanding interpersonal skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience with 5+ years’ experience within the hospitality industry
- Proven record in managing customer facing projects in the capacity of a project leader
- Strong planning and organizational skills combined with excellent time management
- Demonstrated experience in project management principles, practices and procedures.
- PMP certified
- Attention to detail and impeccable follow through
- Experience in managing cross functional projects
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work globally (and virtually) with a variety of cultures & key project stakeholders
- Experience with the Synxis CRS is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours
