KL passenger train catches fire

An express passenger train travelling to Kuala Lumpur from Tumpat, in the Malaysian state of Kelantan, was delayed on Sunday after it caught fire. The New Straits Times reported that the night train was carrying about 500 passengers to the capital when the locomotive ignited near Pasir Mas, Kelantan. The driver immediately detached the engine from the passenger coaches and no-one was injured.
