McEwan joins EFR Travel board

John McEwan has been named as a director of EFR Travel Limited.
London-based EFR offers corporate travel, a luxury tour operating arm and golfing holidays with a private jet division and concierge services.
It is a member of the Advantage Travel Partnership and also has an office in Los Angeles.
Founder and managing director of EFR, Edward Rom said: “I am delighted that someone of John’s standing has agreed to join the board of EFR. He has a wealth of experience across the whole of the travel industry and his insight will be invaluable as we grow the business.”
McEwan added: “I am really pleased to be joining the board of EFR. They are an ambitious company and I look forward to working with the board to grow the business both organically and through suitable acquisitions.”
McEwan told Travel Daily business has been “excellent” at EFR and with its “well-rounded” approach with various arms has built a “good platform to grow further”.
He retains his role as chairman of Holidaysplease.
