World Travel Market has opened up membership for its Buyers Club at this year’s show.
Senior buyers that settle contracts and deals have been invited to apply for the exclusive business club, which included more than 8,500 members at the four-day trade show in 2013.
Those from all parts of the travel industry can apply but a strict selection process is in place. If successful they will have access to speed networking sessions; use of the Buyers’ Club lounge and meeting rooms; fast-track entry and discounted travel, accommodation and entertainment.
World Travel Market Buyers’ Club manager Raj Thakkar said: “WTM Buyers’ Club is the industry’s original and only truly global buyers’ club. We have listened to the wants and needs of buyers within the industry to ensure that their time is ‘hassle-free’, ensuring an easier process to discuss business, leading to contracts being signed. WTM 2013 was a great success for WTM Buyers’ Club members, with them agreeing contracts worth GBP2.2 billion with exhibitors.”
