More Russians to Langkawi

Langkawi Tourism Association deputy president Pishol Ishak said discussions would be held with Russian airlines during a four-day tourism promotional tour to that country next week.
The aim was to attract 2,000 Russians to visit Langkawi from January onwards, he was quoted saying.
Langkawi Development Authority statistics showed that 1,309 Russians came to the island in the first seven months of this year.
