Nepal’s Pashupati Nath temple has introduced a special VIP Darshan facility for Indian citizens at the temple.
The Pashupati Area Development Trust announced the introduction of this facility at the recently held meeting in New Delhi.
The facility would mean Indian citizens will not require to stand in long queues for visiting the temple. Dr Govind Tandon, Member-Secretary, Pashupati Area Development Trust said, “Pashupati Temple is one of the most significant Hindu temples of Shiva in the world. The temple serves as the seat of the national deity – Lord Pashupatinath and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Such events will hopefully see increased tourism traffic between both countries and will strengthen bilateral relations.”
