Australia-based Captain Cook Cruises has released an updated brochure for its itineraries on the Murray River.
Three, four and seven-night cruises are listed in the programme o the paddlewheeler Murray Princess.
The cruises sail between Mannum and Blanchetown in south Australia, with further land options available through parent company SeaLink Travel Group. These include a six-night Kangeroo Island, Murray River and Adelaide package; Adelaide half-day City Highlights and a ‘Barossa and Handoff Wine Experience’.
The company is said to have seen “significant growth” in bookings in the past year and is expecting another boost after refurbishments to the vessel are completed.
“We are experiencing a very exciting year for the Murray Princess, with river and water levels at their optimum and passenger loads at all-time record levels. Along with the great European rivers, Australia’s mighty Murray River is benefitting from the increasing worldwide popularity of river cruising” said Anthony Haworth, general manager for Captain Cook Cruises.
