A new hotel in Leicester Square will mark the transformation of the entire Edwardian Group London according to its CEO.
Jasminder Singh, CEO of the group said its hotel development in the city’s West End will provide a step-change in its efforts to compete with other lifestyle and business hotels in the capital.
The group has appointed design firm Yabu Pushelberg to deck out the 360-room hotel and its public spaces, which will include restaurants, bars and a ‘resort style’ spa and pool club.
“Over many years we have built up our business, with a focus on London and the capital has been very good to us. My ambition has always been to build a new hotel in an iconic location benefiting not only our company and customers, but Londoners alike. We believe our Leicester Square development will achieve that,” said Singh.
“We see this project as transformational for the whole of Edwardian Group London, in that we intend to compete with the global stable of top lifestyle and business hotels with a bespoke brand and guest experience. The appointment of Yabu Pushelberg reinforces our professional design team and commitment to reaching ‘best in class’ for this new hotel.”
