Ho Chi Minh City, January 2010 — The newest addition to the Park Hyatt Saigon is the “2 Lam Son” bar. A stylishly designed bar by internationally renowned interior design firm Super Potato from Tokyo, 2 Lam Son is the city’s latest social venue, designed to appeal to those who live and enjoy a modern lifestyle.
As you enter the oversized entrance doors, you are met by warm walnut timber floors, and a modern black marble, stainless steel and glass island bar. Located on one side of the island bar is semi-private booth seating, with each booth partitioned by intricately designed metal screens. Located above the bar is a mezzanine floor that offers a relaxed and intimate lounge area, giving patrons a fantastic vantage point. Immediately noticeable from the entrance door is a glass wine library that makes an interesting introduction to the bar.
Modern in design, 2 Lam Son has a Vietnamese influence with the use of colourful fabrics. The friendly and gracious hosts are happy to offer over 600 choices of international wines and spirits, specialty cocktails and beers from around the world.
Customised music programming designed by Morton Wilson of Hong Kong-based Schtung Music offers a smooth and international approach for 2 Lam Son. The music is designed to complement the intimate space and the modern style in the design of the bar.
Located in the heart of the city and within walking distance from everywhere, 2 Lam Son is a stylish addition to the city scene offering the ideal environment for an exceptional experience. Open daily from 4:00pm to 2:00am.
