Oman Air to launch Singapore flights

Oman Air will continue its expansion in Southeast Asia this month, with the launch of flights to Singapore.
The Middle Eastern airline has flown to Bangkok for several years and in December 2014 it added new routes to Manila and Jakarta. And from 29 March 2015, Singapore will become Oman Air’s fourth destination in the region.
The new service will operate daily, direct from Muscat. Flights will depart the Omani capital at 0945 and arrive at Singapore’s Changi Airport at 2100. The return leg will then leave Singapore at 0920, getting back into Muscat at 1215.
Oman Air will operate the route using an Airbus A330 aircraft.
“The launch of these new services continues our ambitious programme of expansion and follows the highly successful December 2014 introduction to our network of services to Manila and Jakarta,” said Oman Air’s CEO, Paul Gregorowitsch.
“We look forward to giving many thousands more air travellers the opportunity to fly with Oman Air aboard our outstanding new aircraft.”
Singapore is one of three new Asian destinations announced by Oman Air. Flights to Goa, the popular Indian resort destination will also commence on 29 March, while services to the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka will follow in August 2015.
