Angry Air Berlin passengers demanded to change aircraft after their plane twice had to turn back before take-off, The Independent has reported. The Boeing 737 with 172 passengers on board was due to fly to Portugal’s Algarve when it experienced difficulties at Nuremburg airport. The news comes just weeks after the fatal Spanair crash at Madrid, which was reported to have abandoned its first take-off attempt before crashing.
Air Berlin spokesperson, Alexandra Mueller, said that the airline believed the passengers “overreacted”.
