The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), has forged a partnership with Official Airline Guide (OAG) designed to further strengthen the work of the association’s Strategic Intelligence Centre (SIC). OAG now becomes PATA’s ‘preferred airline data supplier’ and also becomes a PATA corporate member.
Information provided by OAG exclusively to PATA will add considerable weight to PATA’s custom research projects. The three-year agreement, effective 1 January 2009, entitles PATA to real-time access to historic, current and future airline schedule data including point-to-point frequencies and seat capacities to & from specific geographic regions.
“This is a good deal for both parties,” said PATA SIC Director, John Koldowski. “It’s a major boost to our research and analysis consultancy operations and our members will certainly benefit from this exciting partnership with OAG.”
Mario M. Hardy, OAG’s Vice President – Asia Pacific, added; “OAG has been an active contributor to the PATA Foundation and we are very pleased to extend our partnership to the Strategic Intelligence Centre
