Heathrow’s new Terminal 2 will include a Plaza Premium lounge when it opens in June next year.
The luxury airport lounge in what will be known as The Queen’s Terminal will have facilities that include a live cooking station for made-to-order dishes, a champagne bar and a la carte menu of meals by British celebrity chefs.
In addition the lounge will feature a spa with treatments that aim to relax passengers and help them combat fatigue.
The lounge is Plaza Premium’s first in the UK, having previously opened 100 airport lounges in destinations across Asia, Australia, India, the Middle East and Canada.
“We are absolutely thrilled to announce our arrival at London shortly and to be part of the Heathrow family. Our concept holds a few surprises installed for our guests, I will remain tight-lipped about this, but what I can say is, we will make your time at Heathrow second to none.” said Song Hoi-see, founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited.
