Activists of an Indian political party have allegedly vandalised an upscale hotel in Mumbai, Anil Mathur reports.
The lobby and kitchen of the Lalit Intercontinental were damaged as the party members protested against the sacking of about 20 employees by the hotel. Nobody is understood to have been hurt in the incident.
Hotel management said that while they had the right to protest, damage to property was unacceptable.
