Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman has recently enhanced its green initiatives through a series of awareness programs on waste management. This is being undertaken across different sectors such as schools, government entities and private companies.
Iftikhar Hamdani, Ramada Ajman’s general manager said: “We hope that through these initiatives, we can motivate both public and private entities to join us in our efforts in protecting the environment for the future generations.”
The property recently gave a tour and a brief lecture about zero landfill project to students from Al Manar Iman School. The tour focused on the importance of recycling and proper waste disposal. The hotel also hosted a number of site visits in its compost and recycling centre, as well as in the urban farm. These tours were conducted for various groups including representatives from Dubai Municipality, international visitors from Prague, Czech Republic, teachers from Umm Suqeim Model School, and Green Hope UAE volunteers, among others.
